Just Dance offers outstanding training in a wide range of dance styles including – Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre, Tap, and Jazz. Students taking Ballet, Modern or Tap classes are given the opportunity to participate in ISTD examinations offered from 5 years and above. We have a 100% pass rate in all examinations.

Classical Ballet

Ballet technique is the basis of all dance forms. It takes time, effort and dedication to execute the classroom step to any given style, to make it natural, make it seamlessly connected, so that it is true and honest when performed. Examinations and assessments may be taken by suitable candidates.

This class encourages musicality, timing and style, using your feet as a percussion instrument. Tap has become a very popular form of dance, encouraging co ordination and giving the chance to be creative and expressive in a completely different way to other forms of dance

Modern Theatre

This is a fantastic syllabus based class for all ages. Rooted in ballet, the genre has its very own style which is developed through graded examinations. The modern syllabus ignites the imaginations of the young children whilst developing their sense of style and technique. As the students go through the grades towards vocational examinations, the technical demands increase as does the need for a mature understanding of performance, rhythm and style.

This class is a non syllabus class. Jazz now makes up the greatest percentage of commercial dance in television and show business, and therefore is vital in the training of the “all round performer”. For the student who dances for pleasure, both children and adults alike, it is the best way to stretch and tone muscles, substantially improve co-ordination and improve those dance skills to the best of the latest music.

As many recent competitions, television shows and films such as So You Think You Can Dance and Step Up 3D have shown, Street Dance and Hip Hop is becoming an ever-increasingly popular form of dance with incredibly high standards, creativity and versatility. Evolving outside of the traditional dance studio setting, the development of these styles has broadened from the early days of underground Hip Hop culture to the professionally choreographed routines in pop and R&B dance music videos. This class will include multiple styles spanning both Street Dance and Commercial Hip Hop.
