Meet The JD Team
Miss Ami
DDE Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre and Tap. Acrobatic Arts Qualified.

Miss Ami grew up in Hastings and attended Laton Ash Dance School from the age of 2. During her 18 years of training there Ami successfully competed in many local dance festivals, achieved ISTD graded examinations, performed in local pantomimes and shows. It was during this time Ami first assisted young dancers’ lessons and her love of teaching was created!
Ami went on to study at Chichester College, achieving her full DDE in Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre and Tap. She has also since qualified as an Acrobatic Arts Instructor. Ami has provided after school dance and acro clubs at Primary Schools in Hastings where she has taught students within the schools P.E. lessons and as part of this enabled children to perform in Time To Dance at The White Rock Theatre since 2019.

Ami’s first Dance School began with three classes in Tenterden in 2017. These classes soon grew and combined with Charlotte Hudson School of Dance, based in Benenden, in 2020. In 2021, the schools became Ami Piper School of Dance with over 100 students who have achieved a 100% pass rate with ISTD examinations and take part in regular performances on stage and supporting the local community and charities.

Ami’s passion lies within teaching and providing a fun and inclusive environment for all students, enabling them to progress and achieve their dream goals!
Miss Jade
DDE Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre and Tap. Acrobatic Arts and Progressing Ballet Technique Qualified.

Jade was awarded a scholarship to train professionally at The Centre Performing Arts College under the direction of Karen King where she trained in a wide variety of dance disciplines, whilst gaining full distinctions in her DDE ISTD teaching qualifications in Classical Ballet, Modern Theatre & Tap. Since graduating Jade has also gained her Progressing Ballet Technique Certification and is working towards her Imperial Ballet Licentiate.
Having performed in numerous professional productions whilst training, Jade has been lucky enough to work with incredible professionals along the way. Jade’s passion for performing and teaching saw her freelance at a variety of dance schools and several Independent schools in Kent, Surrey and Sussex before opening her own babyballet franchise with just 10 pre-schoolers in 2013, that has now grown to over 250 little stars.
With a passion for seeing students’ progress, Jade was inspired to open her upper school shortly after. ‘Just Dance Studios’, running nearly 50 classes each week, encompassing traditional dance school values with a Modern and Contemporary approach making classes accessible for children and young students on their journey learning dance.
With a wealth of dance teaching experience, Jade has helped her students to perform at major dance platforms including All England regionals & finals, associate & elite programmes and classes at The Place, Laban, Tring Performing Arts, and The Royal Ballet School. She values the chance to work with children of all abilities and interests.
Her main take away of teaching dance is seeing the joy it brings to all involved and seeing pupils discover their true personalities through dance.

I would like to express my thanks to Miss Ami who will now be taking the reins of JDS. Ami absolutely shares my vision for dance teaching and what a dance school should be - I could not be more confident in the future of Just Dance Studios and I cannot wait to see where she takes it.
Miss Holly

At a young age Holly appeared in Coppelia for The English Youth Ballet and realised her passion for dancing. She attended Bexhill College where she was awarded a Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Musical Theatre. Whilst at college Holly was selected to be an assistant choreographer for BBC Blast, which instilled her love for teaching. Holly’s love for performing has seen her work in hotels abroad and also appear on our screens. Her TV & film credits include BBC, ITV and Netflix. She can be seen in Keith Lemons ITV Sketch Show, working alongside Keith Lemon, Paddy McGuinness, Fearne Cotton and Emily Atack, Disney's Christopher Robin working alongside Ewan McGregor and in Guinder Chadha’s film Blinded By The Light, joining forces with Rob Brydon and Sally Phillips. Teaching and working with children has given Holly that passion and encouragement to fulfill their achievements and having the best possible learning experience.
